DESCRIPTION:Since 2016\, the Mona Shores football program has dedicated an evening to bring awareness to our military\, police\, fire\, and emergency responders as a way of giving back. \nThe award winning Sailor Salute\, features a salute to veterans\, active duty military\, police\, fire and first responders all wrapped around a football game between  Mona Shores High School and Reeths–Puffer High School on Friday\, September 8th\, 2023 with activities beginning at 5:00pm and the football game beginning at 7:00pm.

They’ll be on hand to answer questions and share insights in keeping our community safe.\nExploration Zone: Explore police cruisers\, fire trucks\, and emergency response vehicles\, and check out the equipment they use to protect and serve.\nObstacle Course: Gear up and test your skills on our kids’ obstacle course.\nChild ID Cards: Ensuring the safety of our children is paramount. Visit our child ID card station to create a valuable identification card that can be a lifesaver in emergencies.\nFire Truck Rides: Hop aboard a fire truck for a fun ride on the truck.\nSweet Treats: Enjoy complimentary ice cream\, the perfect way to cool down on a sunny day.\nCanteen 450: Will be on-site\, offering hot dogs and refreshing drinks for cash purchase. Your support goes a long way in aiding their involvement in Muskegon County.\n\nSpecial Events to Look Forward To \nHonor Guard Presentation: At approximately 11:30 a.m.\, our event will pause to honor our nation with a moving Honor Guard presentation. The Mona Shores Elementary School Choir performs our National Anthem. \nDoor Prizes: We will draw door prizes for all registered children.
